  • 1 12 cups Ritz cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 13 cup melted butter

directions

  • Mix together cracker crumbs and sugar.
  • In a slow stream add butter, using a fork to toss well.
  • Press into a 9-inch pie plate, moulding bottom and sides.
  • Bake in a 350 degree, pre-heated oven for 10 minutes.
  • Remove and cool.

  1. Try this with pumpkin pie! I just did as the store was out of pie crusts and had to wing it with what I had in the kitchen. It is AWESOME!
     
  2. This makes an outstanding base for plain vanilla cheesecake. I used the recipe inside the Philly box and subbed ritz for the graham crackers. Hubs and I both loved the touch of salt that the ritz cracker crust made with the cheesecake. It was just perfect against the creaminess of the cheesecake.
     
  3. I tried this a couple weeks ago, I think I need to add a few more ritz as both times the crust didn't quite fill the pan. I used cooked apples last time. My husband and I loved the salty taste with the apples. This time I am filling it with sugar free chocolate pudding.
