Mmm these were really tasty. They're like wasabi peas, but with garam masala instead of wasabi paste. They'd probably make a great snack food, but I just served them as a small side dish with the chicken jalfrezi I made. The chickpeas tasted great with the sauce. These chickpeas are delicious and addicting. I agree that they make a great snack and/or side dish - very flavorful. Preparing these chickpeas took me back to my Southern roots where we used to shell peas on my Grandmother's front porch. It does take some time to remove all the outer shells, but they are definitely worth it. Made for Best of 2012.
