Ingredients Nutrition

  • 12 oysters, scrubbed
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 425 F.
  2. Spread salt on a baking sheet.
  3. Place pan in the oven for 5 minutes to pre-heat.
  4. Remove pan from the oven and arrange oysters, deep side down, on the salt.
  5. Roast until the oysters open - about 5 minutes.
  6. Fully open the oysters with an oyster knife.
  7. Remove the connective muscle attaching the oyster to the shell.
  8. Serve the oysters warm, with Hot Sauce.
