  1. Sounds yummy. I have the little chocolate candy making discs. I do not have a kitchen scale. Can you give me a measuring cup amount?

  1. I also toasted the pecans stovetop (my oven was busy) & it worked out fine. It sure does make a difference in the taste of the pecan. I lined a cookie sheet with waxed paper & dropped the candies on there & put them in the freezer to harden before I packed them for storage. Next time I make them, I will increase the chocolate, as I like a high chocolate-to-nut ratio. I'd like to also try them with white chocolate. Made for Everyday Holiday Tag-Dec'09.

  2. Recipe in family for many years. From up North and we used Candiqiuk. Many years ago when we moved away couldn't find Candiqiuk so my mother would either buy and ship it to me or bring it when they came for visits. It is available in the area I live now. The treat is a favorite of family and friends and I try to make at least 4-5 batches during holidays and Valentine's Day.
