Rocky Road Fudge (No Bake)

"This recipe is similar to rocky road treats because of its crunch and crunch! There are many things you can add to make it crunchier as well! This recipe is open for experimentation! And the best part is, for those of you (like me) without an oven, this doesn't require one! LOL"

directions

  • Melt the chocolate chips, butter and corn syrup in a pan.
  • Once it is fully melted and smooth, add in mini marshmallows.
  • Take out a small portion of this chocolate and set aside.
  • Bash the tea biscuits into bits with some chunks big and small.
  • Take the chocolate mixture out of the heat and add in tea biscuits.
  • Mix well and even out on a 9 inch square pan. (The pan size depends on how thick you want your fudge to be.).
  • Cool for a few minutes and add the remaining chocolate mixture on top to give it a smooth finish.
  • Add in toppings of your choice.
  • Cool in a dry place for a few hours until it has hardened. You can also leave it in the fridge to lessen hardening time. (Note* if you put it in the fridge, tendency is that once it is out of the fridge, it will melt faster.).
  • Once it is hardened, cut into 18 1-inch squares or into desired size and enjoy!
  • Note* leave them in the fridge to avoid melting.

  1. i rate it a 4 because it's not really fudge - fudge is made using more of a candy making process and this just melts the chocolate but i really did like it and it reminded me of these Golden Graham s'mores treats we had as kids... so i'd probably make it again for that reason (and the fact that i cannot buy Golden Grahams here also makes it a nice alternative)

I am 16 years old and I love to bake, although I might not become a chef someday, I will learn how to cook and bake my way to 5-star recipes, (and maybe someday I might be able to make recipes of my own!). I love baking simple things like sugar cookies, choco chips, oatmeal and peanut butter cookies. Probably the best thing that I have baked so far were oatmeal-chocolate chip cookies that all of my classmates loved! It was during H.E. class and we were divided into four groups. Every other group used a box recipe, but seeing that I do not have an oven at home, I took the opportunity to bake in the H.E. oven the cookies that I really wanted to try. We had the best cookies ever!!! Because it was our first time, we made them overly big... they were giants!!! Haha, yet still delicious!
