  • In a skillet, combine the broth, rosemary, garlic, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
  • Add asparagus and onion.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 3-5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  • Discard bay leaf.
  • Garnish with parsley.

  1. This was a simple and tasty way to make asparagus: I think I've found my new favorite way of preparing it. I opted out on the onion -- I found out after I'd started that I was out, and I had to substitute minced garlic for the cloves, but it was an excellent side to the meal. Thank you!
