Rub 'n Sauce Barbecued Ribs

"Great do ahead ribs. Steam on broiler pan in slow oven, then grill at serving time. These are the most tender and delicious ribs you will ever eat. Alternate method is to season ribs and wrap in non stick foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven and let cool. Place on bbq grill and brush with sauce of choice. Brown and serve."

  1. This recipe worked out great for us. I found we didn't use all the rub spice. We also don't like out ribs real saucy so I cut that in 1/2 also. To cut some sweetness I cut back the sugars abit more. Loved the oven cooking set cause it burned off alot of fat on the ribs. Then we put the ribs in a rotisserie rack cause they were ready to 'fall off the bone delicious'. We loved the flavours, thanks for sharing.

  4. Best rib recipe ever, I'm cooking it this way from now on!!

  5. I did not have enough room on my broiler pan for all the ribs I was making...so I used parchment paper on a big roasting pan. As the ribs were basically sitting on top of each other, I cooked them for 3-1/2 hours at 300. We then proceeded cooking them on the bbq. The ribs came out moist, tender and very flavourful. My family really enjoyed them. My only complaint, (hense the 4 star) was that I had enough rub to make up for 6 - 8 lb of ribs and the sauce was equally doubled the amount. Next time, I will cut the ingredients in half and proceed from there. I am suprised that no one else came up with this comment!! Fantastic ribs, Marie...but way too much ingredients for just 2 lb of meat!!
