“This pie is really nice and kind of fluffy for a pecan pie. it can be served warm without melting all over your plate. its, by far, the best pecan pie i've ever had. and pecan pie is my favorite. you can use butter instead of oleo. make sure you use a glass pie pan for this one, so you will need to buy some premade pie crust, or make your own. dont attempt in an aluminum or metal pie pan.”

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Melt oleo.
  3. Mix all ingredients, except for the pecans together.
  4. place of pecan halves into pie crust.
  5. pour mixture into pie crust over top of pecans (they will float up during baking).
  6. Bake for about 10-15 minutes at 375.
  7. Set to 350 and bake until pie is set and pastry is browned.
