  • Dunk cookies thoroughly in rum milk mixture.
  • Using a 9x12-inch glass pan line bottom with cookies.
  • Using prepared vanilla pudding cover the 1st layer of cookies.
  • Repeat using another layer of dunked cookies.
  • Cover with prepared chocolate pudding.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Cut into 12 squares, top with cool whip and cherries.

  1. I love this!!! I got the recipe in 1983 and it has always been one of my standards. delicious, rich, creamy, easy. I usually use almond toast, since I don't love the taste of anisette and I spray the rum mixed with water not milk with a spray bottle. Thank you for postihg this wonderful recipe.

My children are grown and its just me and hubby he is a professional photographer and owns his own studio. He is busy with weddings most of the year so when we do eat together it is a very special time.
