  • Soak the raisins in rum overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Drain the raisins and dispose of rum then set them aside.
  • Combine all dry ingredients and set them aside.
  • Cream in mixer butter and brown sugar.
  • Mix in small bowl egg, vanilla, rum and milk.
  • Add egg mixture to creamed sugar and mix.
  • Fold in drained raisins.
  • Fold in dry mixture.
  • Place 1 tlbs drops of dough onto Silpat or parchment paper-lined cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Remove sheets from the oven and let cookies stand for 4-5 minutes and then place on wire racks to cool.
