Salami Snacks

"This silly little recipe came from my husbands family. They would munch on these over late night cocktails. Don't judge 'em 'til you've tried 'em. Everyone says "ewww" when they first read the list of ingredients, even me! But, they are addictive."

  1. I'm interested in any appetizer I can make with salami. This sounded so interesting I just had to try it. I love it, love it, love it. However, it's a little hard to get some picky eaters to try it if you tell them the ingredients. Those at the party who taste it are all to happy to keep this delicious secret to themselves. Thanks.

  2. I will have to try this as I just cannot imagine it. Innovative I must say

  3. Hmm, this sounds interesting, I wonder if dill pickle slices or bread and butter slices would work, as I don't have any sweet gherkins. This suddenly reminds me of a appetizer I couldn't get enough of when I was younger, but haven't ever made (I preferred eating them over assembling, lol). Sub plain cream cheese for the pb, and place a strip of green onion instead of the pickle over the cream cheese spread on the salami slices. Roll up, eat. I'll bet you won't be able to stop eating them, I couldn't. :D Thanks, Normaone, I'm going to try this with the pickles I have on hand. I'll post back and let ya know how it went. :)

  4. YUM! This is the perfect fix for pregnancy cravings but you don't have to be pregnant to enjoy these - my girlfriends scoff them just as fast as I! Thanks for posting.

  5. My husband saw me making a couple of these to put in his lunch and said he would try them anyway. Told me the sweet from the PB and sour from the pickles really blended well together and wants me to make them again. Will make these often. Thanks!
