Ingredients: 4 sprigs of fresh mint; 8 whole cloves; 3 quarts water; 1 ounce tea leaves; 1 lb sugar; 8 lemons, juiced & reserved; 6 oranges, juiced & reserved; 1 (46 ounce) can pineapple juice

ingredients

4 sprigs of fresh mint
8 whole cloves
3 quarts water
1 ounce tea leaves
1 lb sugar
8 lemons, juiced & reserved
6 oranges, juiced & reserved
1 (46 ounce) can pineapple juice

directions

Place the mint & cloves in the water, bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 - 15 minutes, add the tea, steep for 10 - 15 minutes, strain immediately dissolve sugar in the hot tea. Stir in the fruit juices, Refrigerate after it has become room teperature.

Since my other half isn't all that enthused when I use cloves in a recipe, I was surprised at how well this tea was received, but perhaps it was because of the citrus juices that were included, something we both thoroughly enjoy!
