Directions

  1. Dredge steak pieces in flour and pound with meat mallet or the edge of a plate. Brown in oil.
  2. Meanwhile cook onions, garlic, and peppers in oil in dutch oven.
  3. When steak is browned add to dutch oven.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add enough water to just come to the top of steak.
  6. Simmer uncovered for about 2-3 hours until steak is fork tender.
  7. Add mushrooms in the last hour.
  8. Serve with mashed potatoes and your favourite vegetables.
