• Combine burger, salt, pepper and garlic in a bowl and then shape into 4 patties.
• In a skillet cook patties over medium heat for 10-12 min, flipping once.
• Remove meat from skillet.
• In a bowl combine chicken broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil and glucomannan. *The glucomannan will start setting up into a gel on the bottom of the bowl so whisk again right before adding to skillet.

• Add liquids to skillet and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring constantly, for an additional 5 minutes.
• Remove from heat and let rest for about 6 minute The sauce will thicken as it cools.
• Serve patties smothered in sauce and vegetables.

1. I believe I will cut back on the garlic by one clove next time. Four cloves seemed a bit overpowering and we love garlic. Made for Pick A Chef Spring 2014 Event. :)

I am slowly cutting out grains, legumes, potatoes, sugar and peas. I don't use flour to brown stuff and use glucomannan as a thickening agent. If these other things are in a recipe I don't add them.
