  1. This is a favorite "ball" I usually make aduring the holidays. It is very easy, keeps well and is soooo tasty. I add 1/4 tsp. liquid s smoke to mine and it gives it an extra little something. I also just make it as a spread for little sandwiches and to spread on crackers. BCD

  2. I got this recipe from a dear friend years ago and make it often for social gatherings; everyone realy enjoys it. My recipe adds 2 Tbsp. fresh snipped parsley; seems to add a little to the presentation with a few sprigs around the ball.

HI there! I am a Pennsylvania native that has been transplanted from South Carolina to Virginia. I am happily married and have 2 boys. I am a stay at home mom for now but plan on returning part time to dental assisting when my youngest starts kindergarden. I love to cook but hate to clean up my mess. haha! I love the old church cookbooks because they have the best tasting recipes! I know that they use crisco and butter in everything, but I love the good old tastes! That about sums it up! Enjoy!
