ingredients

1 lb ground beef
¹⁄₂ cup salsa
¹⁄₂ cup breadcrumbs
¹⁄₂ cup cheese, grated
1 egg, lightly beaten
3 garlic cloves, minced
¹⁄₂ - 1 teaspoon dried parsley
salt & pepper
grated cheese, for top (optional)

directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, salsa, bread crumbs, cheese, egg, and garlic.
Season with parsley, salt, and pepper.
Transfer to a 5x9 inch loaf pan.
Top with additional grated cheese, if desired.
Bake for one hour.
