- 750 ml merlot
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup orange liqueur
- 1⁄2 - 1 cup brandy
- 3 cups carbonated lemon-lime beverage, chilled
- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- 1 medium lemon, sliced
- 1 medium orange, sliced
- 1 medium peach, sliced
- ice cube
directions
- In a pitcher, stir the wine, sugar, orange liqueur and brandy until sugar is dissolved.
- Stir in soda and fruit.
- Serve over ice.

Delicious! We really enjoyed this yummy and refreshing sangria on a very hot summer day. I used Cointreau for the orange liqueur and 1 cup brandy. Also, I added more strawberries (about 2 cups) and a couple of sliced limes in addition to the other fruit. It was delicious served right after it was made, but we found that it actually was better when it was allowed to mellow 24-hours in the refrigerator...yum! Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe. It is definitely a keeper!!<br/>**Made for My-3-Chefs 2012**
