Some of us in the Portugal/Spain are reviewing a selection of Sangria recipes head to head. Sangria comes from the spanish word ´sangre´ meaning blood and because of this I was surprised that white wine sangria even existed. I made a small jug of this for myself tonight and I liked it. I would have rated this somewhere between a 3 and a 4 star rating and gave this the benifit of the doubt because it's a new taste for me. This was very drinkable and tasty but for me lacked any wow factor. Please see my rating system: an excellent 4 stars for a yummy evening tipple as my Sangria adventure continues. Thanks!
