“Sardine and Salsa Toastie”

  • 120 g sardines
  • 12 teaspoon vinegar
  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 tablespoons salsa

Directions

  1. Brush the sandwich toaster with a little sunflower oil, wiping off the excess with kitchen paper. Preheat the sandwich toaster to its highest setting.
  2. Mash the sardines with the balsamic vinegar and spread this mixture over one slice of bread. Spread the tomato salsa over and cover with the second slice of bread. Place the sandwich in the toaster, carefully close the lid, and cook for 3 minutes until browned.
