  1. This is a very, very tasty chowder, & I put it together using some homemade chicken broth & definitely did not peel the potatoes (We love the flavor of the peel)! Definitely will be making this one again, & when I do I'd like to use fresh corn! Thanks for sharing a great recipe! [Tagged, made & reviewed in Zaar Stars tag]

  2. A yummy chowder! Picky son #2 said he was glad I made this for dinner tonight. :) I used red potatoes and left the skins on. I also had some half and half that needed to be used so did that instead of milk. I also used regular mayo instead of miracle whip. This recipe didn't take long to put together at all! I also used white corn from my freezer. Served with recipe #349736. Thanks for posting! Made for the May 2009 Aussie/NZ recipe swap.

  3. A very nice thick chowder. I used mayo with canola and canned corn to make quick work of this. Home from school today Carly enjoyed three big bowls of it. Glad she left me some! Made for the Beverage Tag.

  4. It's always lovely when such simple ingredients can produce such a tasty meal. This was really easy to throw together and tasted just great.I used mayo (we don't get Miracle Whip this side of the pond),and I was intrigued as to how this and the flour and milk would work.It went a little clumpy when I first mixed it into the chowder, but soon cooked itself out, thickening it beautifully with the mayo giving a really nice dimension to the flavour. This would also be great with the addition of some finely diced leek and/or a pinch of chilli flakes. We really enjoyed this Wicked Cook, thanks for sharing. Made for 1-2-3 Hits.

  5. This was good!! Left out the celery because I didn't have any, and used a combination of half-and-half and milk, as I had just a little half-and-half that I needed to use up. Needed a little extra seasoning (salt and pepper), but other than that was really good!
