“I found this recipe in one of my cook books. It's really easy to make and can be served as an appetizer or over rice for a quick and delicious meal.”

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 cup grape juice
  • 1 cup apple jelly
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 4 lbs frozen italian style meatballs

  1. In a medium sauce pan, combine juice, jelly, ketchup, and tomato sauce.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until jelly as melted.
  3. Remove sauce from heat.
  4. Place meatballs in a 5-qt slow cooker.
  5. Pour sauce over meatballs and stir to coat.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or until heated through.
  7. * note- I like to put half of the meatballs in, cover with sauce and stir. Then add the other half, cover with remaining sauce and stir to coat. It allows the sauce to be more evenly distributed over all the meatballs.
  8. * These can be served buffet style, or over rice with a warm, buttery roll.
