- 1 lb mild Italian sausage, Ground
- 1 medium onion, Diced
- 1 green bell pepper, Diced
- 4 ounces fresh mushrooms, Sliced
- 2 teaspoons garlic, Minced
- 1 tomatoes, Diced
- 12 ounces tri-color spiral pasta, cooked and drained
- 1 3⁄4 cups cream (or Milk, I use 1c cream and 3/4 milk)
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces parmesan cheese, Shredded
- 1 lb mozzarella cheese, shredded
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 2.5 quart dish.
- Brown sausage with onions, green pepper,mushroom, & garlic. Cook until sausage is no longer pink. Drain grease.
- In large pot, add spices and milk or cream. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Reduce heat. Add Tomato, 8oz Parmesan cheese and 8oz mozzarella cheese. Stir until cheese is melted and smooth.
- Combine sausage and veggies & noodles to the cheese mixture. Stir until completely combined.
- Pour into the greased dish. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese. Bake until cheese is completely melted and bubbly.
