  • In a large saucepan, saute onion in oil until tender.
  • Add sauerkraut, sausage, potatoes, apple juice& apple.
  • Combine brown sugar, flour& carway, stir into saucepan.
  • Simmer for 35 minutes.
  • Garnish with bacon.

  2. We really like this. I used ButterBall Turkey Polaka Kielbasa Sausage for it. I agree with Bergy I think next time I will go for something spicier. Thanks for a wonderful meal. I will be making this again.
     
  3. This recipe is a marriage of ingredients that totally compliment each other. I used Oktoberfest sausages and they were delicious but next time I will use a spicy, hot smoked sausage. Great dinner thanks mmiwjr

My DH & i moved closer to where he works, next door to his parents so we are there to help them when they get older. I like to cook experiment with foods, so i will have more time for this. I really do like this site & the support we get from friends we do not know.
