  1. cooking day.
  2. In stock pot, saute bacon and onion until golden. Add sausage, beef broth, basil,parsley, garlic, cayenne pepper, and black pepper. Bring to boil.Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. In a separate stockpot, cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain. Add tortellini and spinach leaves to soup, then simmer until tortellini heated through, bot do not boil. Remove from heat and cool. Freeze, using freezer bag method.
  3. Serving Day.
  4. thaw completely. Reheat on stove, but do not boil. Garnish soup with fresh Parmesan cheese and croutons: serve.
