Savory Smoked Gouda and Apple Tart

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and line with parchment a 9 in springform pan or loose bottomed flan pan.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and brown sugar.
  4. Stir in pecans, apples and raisins.
  5. Stir till combined.
  6. Beat eggs and add oil to them.
  7. Mix into dry ingredients.
  8. Incorporate fully.
  9. Put ½ of the mixture in the pan and flatten.
  10. Layer with gouda, then the other half of the mixture.
  11. Be sure to go all the way to the edges of the pan.
  12. Bake for 45 min or until golden brown and firm.
  13. Cool slightly, then serve warm.
