  1. I just tried this and it has a very good flavor. I used grape jelly and omitted raisins which I didn't have. I also put in a mix of russet potato and yam. I will try this again and just stick with the yam the potato doesn't marry well with the other flavors. Finally issue I had was I used very lean boneless chops I took them out a half hour before the rest and they were dry, so I think I needed a thicker chop. <br/>Definitely a keeper and a recipe I'll try again to master.

  2. This was fantastic!! Really easy to make and delicious. I followed the directions except I didn't cook the sweet potatoes first and they were perfect. This is a definite keeper... I'll be making this often.

  3. We really liked this dish. It's nice that it's something different to do with porkchops! I followed the recipe except that I did not have currant jelly so I used some grape and a little strawberry. I didn't cook the sweet potatoes first, I just cut peeled and cut them up and they were perfect that way. I will be making this again. Thank you!

  4. I feel like you need to know my background with pork. I haven't eaten any pork since I was in the second grade and came down with an awful case of food poisoning after eating pork chops. I have since turned DH off of pork and the kids have never eaten it. Well, my MIL brought some over after getting a ton on sale. I finally decided to try it after all these years, and I made this recipe. We all LOVED it! I used Dijon Mustard and Apple jelly and only 1/3 c. sugar. My 2-yr-old said, "I like this meat, mommy!" I may even buy my pork chops in the future to make this again. Thanks!

  5. Delicious! Quick & easy. I've used chops and tenderloin and both come out great. Only change is less sugar and had to use grape jelly as I couldn't find currant. It was excellent! Thanks!

I live in Las Vegas. I was lucky enough to run into Recipezaar around Nov. 2000 and got hooked quickly. I am a cookbook collector and have been collecting recipes for as long as I can remember. My DH had to build in shelves for all my cookbooks! I like to dabble with OAMC and for a few years hosted the Budget/OAMC forum with some great people over there. Even though I don't work in the forum any longer I've set up a lot of cookbooks for the purpose of OAMC and stretching food that might be helpful. Please feel free to check them out! I go on food jags and cooking jags! Please come say hi to me and chat on facebook. I currently host a blog for saving money through finding deals and coupons if you are interested. Most of the time I try to cook and have a good dinner on the table but I'll be honest enough to say there is still fast food occasionally in the budget! I have had such wonderful support here whenever I need it. Thank you all for being here! Just a quick note on how I rate recipes: ? 5 stars - This recipe is perfect. (My DH is truly a critic and doesn't give 5's unless it's amazing) I would recommend it to others and would definitely make again. ? 4 stars - This recipe was good but I would change something in it next time. ? 3 stars - This is a recipe I would not make again but it was OK ? 2 stars - This recipe I would not make again and we didn't like it at all ? 1 star - This recipes did not work out/taste was unappealing and wouldn't make again
