  1. Heat oven to 350³F.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in 10-inch skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook onion and bell pepper in butter, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender.
  4. Stir in flour, salt, paprika, mustard and pepper.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly; remove from heat.
  6. Stir in milk.
  7. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
  8. Boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat.
  9. Stir in corn and egg.
  10. Pour into ungreased 1-quart casserole.
  11. Mix cornflakes and 1 tablespoon butter; sprinkle over corn mixture.
  12. Bake uncovered 30 to 35 minutes or until center is set.
