  1. I love scalloped potatoes and these were very yummy potatoes. Very quick to put together which is a bonus. I too added a little paremesan cheese to the sauce for a bit of cheese flavor. I totally forgot about the breadcrumbs, left them on the counter but they still turned out fantastic. I would definiteley be making these again. Thanks for sharing your receipe NELady.

  2. These were delicious! I added some parmesan and garlic powder too, but could have added a bit more. It was easy, tasty and my kids loved it. I made this for the Kitchen Witches for ZWT5. Thanks! :)

  3. I took the others' suggestion and added a bit of grated parmesan to the middle layer. Came out great. I had to bake mine for another 20 mintues to soften up the potatoes and onions to suit our tastes. Thanks!!

  4. Made as directed but used some reviews, I decided to add some parmesan cheese to the sauce along with a bit of garlic powder. I used seasoned breadcrumbs for the top and it really added to this recipe well. Thanks for posting this very versatile recipe. :)

  5. This is a really nice recipe, that is very simple to throw together.I doubled the sauce (which is so simple to make, and would work for many other things, and is also better for you as it omits the butter,as in a conventional bechamel!!)as it didn't seem very much to me,and we prefer more sauce to being too dry.It worked out really well.I also left off the breadcrumb topping,as I knew that we would like it better without it. It was very tasty, although next time I may well add a little cheese to the sauce. Thanks for posting..Made for 1-2-3 Hits.
