  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Place ham in a baking dish.
  • Add onions, tomatoes, wine, broth and bay leaf.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, basting frequently.
  • Knead butter and flour together.
  • Stir into gravy a little at a time, stirring until thickened.

  1. Pretty good ham! with an unusual sauce for a ham-based dish. DH didn't care for the sauce: I thought it was OK, but not great. It really reduced the saltiness in the ham, though. And left a good flavor in the meat. Tender, too.<br/>The recipe was very easy to make, very little fuss. Not sure I will make it again but it was well worth trying. Thanks, from Janet
