Scottish Scones

"I learned to make these biscuits from a children's cooking class held at my local library when I was about 10. They're fantastic with some butter and maybe a little jelly or preserves. They also make the perfect tea-time snack."

I love to bake and I absolutely adore ethnic foods. I enjoy trying new foods. One of my favorite shows is Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. I'm so jealous of him. He gets to travel the world and try fantastic, exotic cuisine. I also love Good Eats. I enjoy growing and making my food rather than buying it from a grocery store, and I believe that a healthy diet begins with freshness. I also try to give only positive feedback and I would expect the same in return. One of my pet peeves are people who try something new and then blame the creator for not liking it. Or people who take a recipe, somehow make it wrong, and automatically blame the person who created it. Every recipe I shall post on here is tried and true, even with the pickiest of eaters, so I expect you shall have great fun making it and then watching it disappear. =)
