directions

  • bring the milk to a boil on the stove, careful not to burn it. (If you're short on time or looking for a quicker more convenient alternative to the stove, you can always use the microwave, but be careful not to blow it up. try 1 minute intervals and stir in between each to avoid heat pockets.).
  • remove the milk from the stove and pour into glass or mug whichever you prefer and add the tea bag. let steep for 3-6 minutes depending how strong you like it. (I recommend somewhere in the middle!).
  • stir in the nutmeg (optional, but it ads some extra yummy flavour!) and sprinkle the cinnamon on top. voila!

  1. Ok, but I couldn't really taste the tea flavor...

  2. Warm creamy drink for a cold night. Will try with vanilla soy milk, too. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

  3. I brewed for 6 minutes and still found it a bit weak. Good though.

  4. Wow, this is deceptively good. I love the flavor the cinnamon and nutmeg (freshly ground) added to it. I also added a packet of splenda to it. It is comforting a soothing without being too strong.

  5. This is an amazing drink. LOVE IT :-)

I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, where I lived with my 6 siblings (I am the oldest of 7 children and love it!) In 2005 I graduated university, shortly after my parents divorced. It is the most traumatic thing that has happened in my life, and chances are it always will be. My dad moved to Montreal (which was where I was living) with my two brothers and sister, and my mum moved to Italy (Italian family history) with my three sisters. I felt so alone. I no longer felt love in Canada, all I had was a small apartment above a noisy street and some friends. I spent a year traveling with my best friends, which worked out very well because had it not been for the divorce, i would not have grown so close to my friends. I then married one who I'd been traveling with. My husband and I plan on bringing our two daughters, Thaijise and Rozalia, to Korea to live with my brother and his family.
