I served this last night for a little happy hour we had with the neighbors. This dip certainly was a hit with everyone. This is VERY easy to throw together and the combination of ingredients made a perfect dip. We particularly liked the chopped water chestnuts...it gave it a nice crunch and texture. Thanks for sharing Dotty2.

Great dip! Made a half recipe this weekend giving it a trial run for a March birthday needing some new to us appetizers and dips. Love it! Very similar to a Knorr Spinach dip that is a family favorite - now I have one that is a wonderful seafood dip that will be included in the party dips for the seafood lovers .Used Mayo and went with the chilling overnight. The water chestnuts always add such wonderful crunch and work so well in this dip. Will be serving this dip with both the crackers and a vegetable tray. Thank you Dotty - as always your recipe a winner at our house.

I have just recently retired. I worked in the banking industry for 25 yrs. My husband and I own a cottage and have spent most of this last summer at the lake. We go there in the winter as well. I love to cook and I collect recipes.
