  1. I love this seasoning. I've also used this in white potatoes and a gluten free gravy recipe. Last time I made it I put this seasoning in mashed potatoes and added some white tuna to the potatoes. Yum.

  2. Easy to make, and the directions are wonderfully straight forward. The potatoes are crispy on the outside and tender inside. A great flavor that penetrates!

  3. This was another recipe that I cut in half for just 2 of us, but that didn't detract from the great flavor ~ Absolutely wonderful! Another time, though, & I'll make the whole thing, 'cause they'd be great as little snacks during the day! Thanks for sharing the recipe! {Tagged & made in Please Review My Recipe]

  4. These seasoned potatoes were a hit with my family. Keeping the size of the potato small is important. Looking forward to trying it with new potatoes in the summer.

  5. I tell you these were the best darn potatoes I have ever made...everyone went wild for them...<br/>the only thing I changed was I had a ton of fresh thyme in my herb garden and used that instead of the dried...these are a must try....I am putting this recipe in my faves for 2010

Tweaks

  1. DELICIOUS and so very quick and easy to prepare: I'll definitely be making these again. I used small new (i.e. young potatoes) and, although I noticed that many earlier reviewers had omitted the butter, I decided to use both the olive oil and the butter as I knew the two together would be sensational - and they were. I added 4 cloves of minced garlic instead of the garlic powder and added rosemary and sage to the other herbs. These potatoes smelt wonderful while cooking, looked as delicious as those in cookiedog's photograph and tasted superb. This is not only a wonderful way to cook potatoes but it's a recipe that frees you up to make another dish while they are cooking. The potatoes also re-heat very well in the microwave, and are a great addition to an omelette: that's how I used the last of these. Thank you, Lainey, for another fantastic recipe!

  2. Excellent potatoes! I will be making these again and again. I quartered my potatoes as I only had large ones. I was out of thyme so used marjoram instead. They came out wonderful. Thank you for the recipe.
