  1. Soften butter and shortening in microwave. Combine with sugar, marshmallow, baking powder, salt, and vanilla. Add egg and beat well.
  2. Slowly add flour 1/2 c at a time to mixture. Mix well. Stir in chips by hand.
  3. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. Preheat oven to 375. Make rounded 1-2 T balls - then press lightly on cookie sheet to flatten.
  5. Bake 10-13 minutes until golden brown.
