I have to admit that I had a little trouble with these. The dough is VERY good flavors, great textures -- but I must've done something wrong because the finished dough was *way* too thin. I clearly needed to have added MUCH more flour than the recipe calls for, because the cookies "melted" more than baked. Maybe I let my butter get too soft before adding the other ingredients? I don't know. I assume it was just my error though, since the recipe has had a 5-star review from a chef whose opinion I trust. SO, I'm going to make these again at some point, with more flour and colder butter, and see how that goes. The flavor of the dough -- yes, I nibbled away at the raw dough since it was too good to waste! -- made me want to try again.
