Sesame Spinach

"This side dish takes almost no time at all and goes great with any Asian entree. It could also be served along with other vegetables as part of a traditional Korean meal. I wonder how you'd say "Popeye" in Korean..."

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted (or more if you like)

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the spinach, stirring until it becomes limp (about 3 or 4 minutes).
  • Place on serving dish and drizzle with teriyaki sauce. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and serve.
