Directions

  1. Place sugar, butter, salt, and evaporated milk in a large saucepan.
  2. Stir until mixed and heat to a boil.
  3. Boil gently for 5 minutes, stirring all the while.
  4. Turn off the heat and add the chocolate morsels, marshmallows, nuts, and vanilla.
  5. With a large spoon beat the candy mixture until chocolate and marshmallows are melted.
  6. Grease an 8 inch square pan and pour in the fudge. Let it set until solid and then cut into squares.
