  • 2 lbs lean hamburger
  • 1 (15 ounce) can creamed corn
  • 1 (12 ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 cups cheese
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen tater tots

directions

  • Brown hamburger, if its lean you wont have to drain Add cream corn, soup, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour into 9x13 dish.
  • Add 1 cup of cheese.
  • Add bag of tater tots.
  • Top with more cheese.
  • Cover with foil, and bake 350* for 30 minutes.

  1. I have cooked it several times for a Celebrate Recovery group and is one of there favorites. Most see it as a comfort food from childhood.
     
  2. I thought that it was really good.I think that it needs some more spice and more vggies though.It maybe that I like alot of veggies and food to be rally flavorful.It was really simple tp make and I would make it again.
     
  3. This was good. The recipe does not state when to add the onions, so I added them when I browned the beef. Next time I will use a half the fat celery soup and maybe dilute it with a bit of milk or water as the casserole came out a bit dry and a wee bit salty - probably the soup caused this. Easy to prepare and quite good. Thank-you for sharing!
