Questions & Replies

  1. My mom taught me to cook meat fish first then veggies grits whatever because meat maintains its heat longer....? So cook shrimp first then grits for a hot meal.

  2. You have 4 tbs butter as a ingredient Then you add butter to grits. Then you melt butter to cook shrimp. I can't melt butter if I added it to the grits, so how much goes in grits, and how much to cook shrimp.

  1. My new favorite recipe for shrimp and grits. It's so easy to make, which makes a perfect weeknight dinner!

  2. I'm heating the garlic in butter and then add the 2 tbps of cream... It evaporates in seconds, as I figured it would. But I'm told to "cook" it for five minutes?! How's that possible? I've done a workaround, but I can't see how this works as proscribed.

  3. Just asking. Do people in Alabama really take a dish like this to an actual tailgate? Would you have this at an Alabama game in the parking lot?
