  • Saute onion, celery, garlic,and bell pepper in butter until onion is translucent.
  • In heavy skillet, make a roux from oil and flour.
  • Cook over medium heat until golden brown.
  • Stir in sauteed vegetables, bay leaf, lemon juice, tomatoe paste, tomatoes, Worcestershire and shrimp.
  • Add water just to cover mixture.
  • Cook over medium heat untl shrimp are pink and tender; strirring occasionally.
