- 8 ounces sweet rice
- 1⁄2 cup coconut milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 -3 drops yellow food coloring
- 1 lb shrimp, cleaned and shelled
- green onion
- 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning
directions
- Tremble (soak) sweet rice in coconut milk for one night with food coloring. Steam for about 30 minutes. Cut shrimp into small pieces and fry in a pan with salt, pepper and seafood seasoning. Place sweet rice on a platter in the shape of a circle. Place shrimp in center and garnish with green onion.
