  • Mix shrimp, ginger, sherry, salt, egg, water chestnuts, cornstarch and msg. Cut each piece of bread into four squares. Place a mound of shrimp mixture on each bread square. Garnish each square with minced ham and parsley. Press onto bread in a little mound. Heat oil and deep fry squares until both sides are golden brown. Serve hot. (No, the mixture does not drop off the toast!).
