  1. OMG this is fantastic, better than 5 stars. I used sea scallops instead of shrimp and followed the recipe exactly as written. Served the rich garlicy sauce over rice. This is a definite keeper. Thank you so much Evelyn for posting this winner.

  2. Simple but elegant and yummy; children and adults both loved it. I served it over farfalle (butterfly) pasta, which caught the sauce well, and made for interesting consistency with the shrimp. The only change I would make next time is to double it! :o) Would love to try it with a rice pilaf, too. Thanks, Ev!

  3. Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! My MIL took the recipe home with her that is how much she liked it. I loved the sauce and the consistency. We had rice and spaghetti to serve alongside, but I preferred it with rice the best. Thank you for letting me know about your recipe. We all loved it!!!

  4. I made this when my brother and his wife and kids came to dinner. They were blown away with each bite! The compliments were flying throughout the meal. I doubled the recipe as I had 9 of us eating. I made Wild Rice and Creamed Peas to go with it. There was plenty for everyone and I had leftovers for lunch. What a lunch it was too!

  5. Shrimp, garlic, butter - these are a few of my favorite things! I mixed this with cooked orzo for an excellent gourmet meal.

I moved out here many, many years ago from Ottawa, Canada - so I am blessed in having two wonderful heritages! I suffer from compulsive obsessive behaviour with regard to food and my psychiatrist thought it would be a good idea to find a 'society' where many have the same problem and try to find a cure. So far, I've copied a couple of thousand recipes from this site and my psychiatrist has thrown the towel in and refuses to answer the phone when I call. What did I do wrong? Got 3 kids that keep me on the go - 10 and under at this point (2008) - I may not get round to updating this for a few years, so you'll have to do your own maths. I teach English full-time and Greek Cookery part-time. I would like to make the cooking part of it full-time and the English Grammar part of it part-time. That's all for now.
