  1. In a large slow cooker, combine lentils, vegetables, and water.
  2. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 hours.
  3. Add in pasta and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cook on HIGH for 30 minutes, or until the pasta is tender.
  5. Serve hot, sprinkled with the cheese.
