  • Refrigerate Wine and heavy cream for several hours.
  • Drain Cherries. Place in sauce pan with cinnamon sticks, barely cover with water and add sugar.
  • Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and let cool.
  • When cherries have cooled, put in refrigerator for several hours until fully chilled.
  • Just before serving add wine to cherries and mix thoroughly, then stir in the heavy cream. Remove the cinnamon sticks.
  • Serve in chilled soup bowls.
