Simple Breading Mix

"I use this breading mix for everything from chicken, fish, vegs, etc. It is simple to make with only a few ingredients but it adds a great flavor to fried foods. The final result is also crisper than just using flour."

  2. I made this for a 1/4 cup serving and used it to coat boneless/skinless chicken breast that I was making to us in a tossed green salad that required cooked chicken. This was a great addition to just the plain poached or grilled chicken used in most salads. I made this as written and it was a great basic coating for meats. Thanks for sharing your recipe!! Made for Star Tag!!

  3. A very simple and tasty coating-I resisted the urge to add to it,but may throw in some garlic powder and herbs next time.

  4. Made for 123 Tag Hits. I used panko bread crumbs with the rest of the ingredients and added a smidge of herb-garlic spice mix on pork chops....very nice breading mix!

  5. This is a nice and simple coating mix. I did use it on chicken and baked the pieces instead of frying and it worked very well. Just a perfect mix for a quick coating. Made for your win in the Summer Spectacular Event in the cooking tag games July 2009.
