Simple Chicken or Turkey Marinade

ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
- 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
- 3 lemons, juice of
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 dash Tabasco sauce
- 1⁄2 cup water
directions
- Melt sugar in butter, whisk in other ingredients and use to marinade poultry at least one hour.
- Can also be used for cooking poultry in the crockpot with no marinade time (omit water.).

This is a mild marinade but not really flavorful. It had enough sugar in it to give it a little color when grilled and make the chicken juicy. Made for Everday Holiday.
