  • Gently dump berries into a large bowl or sink of cold water to rinse, remove immediately into strainer and drain well.
  • Pour into dutch oven, add sugar and mash well with potato masher until jusices begin to form.
  • Place over low heat until sugar is melted, then raise heat and boil rapidly for 10 minutes, counting from the time mixture reaches full boil, stirring often.
  • Remove from heat, adding in lemon juice.
  • Pour into sterilized jars, seal and invert for 5 minutes, then set upright to cool.
  • Label and store -- Enjoy.

<p>I am married, and the mother of 5 all of who are out of the house now, but still love to cook for them all. &nbsp; Am learning how to cook for just 2 now, it's not easy.</p> <p>I love to cook and try new things, even if it's just to change an ingredient or 2 or 3, but just to change things up.</p>
