- 1 cup Butter Flavor Crisco
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup walnuts
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup chocolate chips
directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Microwave crisco for 60 seconds or until melted. Set crisco aside to cool. Beat two eggs in a large bowl. Add flour, sugar, walnuts, and crisco. Mix. Slowly add water and mix while adding. Dough should be thin, but not too thin--a little thicker than frosting. Add chocolate chips.
- Place heaping spoonfuls of dough onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Cookies will be brown on botom, but may have a shiny spot on top. Better to undercook than to overcook. Remove cookies from oven and place into freezer. Remove from freezer after 5-10 minutes and enjoy. Yields about 2 dozen 3 inch cookies.
