Simple Taco Dip

ingredients
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning
- 1 lb ground beef (lean or x-lean)
- chunky salsa (choose one that you like)
- sour cream
- cheddar cheese, you could use mozzarella (grated)
- tortilla chips
directions
- Cook the ground beef following the directions of the taco seasoning.
- Drain and place meat in a pairex container.
- Layer with sour cream, salsa and cheese (in that order).
- Place in oven until cheese on top melts (optional step).
- Serve and enjoy with the chips.

Great dip, & just what guests tonight will devour, I'm sure! Will be serving these with corn scoops & yam chips (that is, if I can keep my own hands out of the dip long enough ~ finger-lickin' GOOD)! Used a medium salsa & the cheddar! [Made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in this Spring's PAC]

Work in the IT field and , when I have time and money, I like to cook.
The problem that I have is that some people in my house (Kids) like bland food, no spices, no sauces, no flavour. For ex. my wife meatloaf that the kids really like is made with only bread crumbs, eggs, and a little bit of watter; she makes gravy from a package to go with the meat, but is not the same.
